Tom was named Director of the Department of Financial Institutions early in 2016.  As a lifelong public servant, Tom is excited and energized by his current role and the opportunity to lead fulfillment of the Department’s mission.  Over most of the past two decades, Tom has held a number of positions with the Department, including 15 years of field examination and regional supervision experience prior to being named the Deputy Director of the Depository Division in 2013.
